What does a Scottish home need?

Interlinked means that when one alarm detects a fire, the alarms communicate with each other and sound together, helping occupants hear the warning wherever they are in the property. Alarms can be interlinked wirelessly or by suitable wiring.

Carbon Monoxide Alarms

Where a property has a fixed combustion appliance, such as a boiler, open fire, wood burner or other applicable appliance, a carbon monoxide detector is also required. The detector does not have to be interlinked with the smoke and heat alarms.
